Machine Operator - Ilapak Preferred (Swing Shift)

Operate and maintain Ilapak machine used in the processing of rice to produce quality products in accordance with USDA and QC/QA standards.

Production Worker

Performs numerous manual duties to produce quality products in accordance with company requirements.

  • Performs a variety of routine tasks in food manufacturing including cutting, trimming, mixing, inspecting, sorting, packaging and casing of product.

Production Lead Person (Swing Shift)

Ensure production crew is ready to begin daily production on time; ensure crew has all necessary materials to correctly and efficiently produce quality products that meet or exceed HACCP, USDA, & QA standards.

  • Must know all areas and jobs in the line including, but not limited to training new hires, assembling and packaging product, assigning workers to work stations, monitoring production and adjusting work assignments, supply of material and machine operation when necessary.
  • Responsible for operation, training new machine operators and limited maintenance; refers extensive machine repairs to maintenance personnel.
  • Must be able to work with and assist the other leads on the Line in order to ensure proper scheduling and control of people and material.
  • Must ensure all products meet or exceed USDA, HACCP and QA standards and ensure that workers follow all OR-OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Ensure all necessary materials are available and ready for next day’s production; monitor and expedite flow of materials during production and maintain production inventory of materials.
  • Confers with Production Manager to receive instructions and exchange production information.
  • Meet and maintain all productivity standards for the department and ensure that it complies with the company’s ISO 9001 standards.
  • Assist workers in equipment operation and processing, promote teamwork and safe work habits. Substitutes for absent workers when necessary.
  • Complete all paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Supervisory Responsibilities:
    This job has some supervisory responsibilities over approximately 9 ~ 12 line workers.

  • Education and/or Experience
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
